Louisiana State Prison in Angola Louisiana holds the last remaining Convict
Rodeo in the US. We have now held three RAT Rallies at Angola.
This is a rally like no other you will ever attend. Once again we will have the Angola Prison Rally for 2002

Angola Prison Rally 2002
I have had requests to have a return to Angola Prison once again. If you
don't know about Angola just go to the web site and look under Angola @
www.ratrun.com The web page will be update for this years rally.
This years we will not have a prison tour as too many other bike groups asked
for the same tour and the prison cannot handle those request and to just
allow us would be politically improper?
The date will be Oct 19 & 20.
So, here is the deal. The hotel we will stay at is the St. Francisville
hotel. The phone number to call to reserve your room is 225-635-3821. We
have 42 rooms reserved @ $62. The rooms go very fast so call ASAP. After
Oct 2 the reserved rooms will be released. When checking in tell them you
are with the Angola Prison Rally or the BMW Group to make sure you get your
discount.
To get your rodeo tickets you must call the Prison @225-655-2042. Request
tickets for section 19. Give a group name of "BMW group." If you give them
the group name when requesting your tickets you can be seated together. Ask
for Marylyn. The tickets are $10 and well worth every penny.
Their is a camp ground for those wanting to camp. Green Acres. Phone is
225-635-4903. Word of caution here. The lady who runs the camp ground is
getting up their and not very flexible, so walk softly? One tent is $15 with
one or
two persons.
